Research Experience and Accomplishments

• Mainly focused on molecular structures and molecular aggregation structures to address a series of design, fabrication and property investigation issues regarding optoelectronic conversion devices. Systematic explorations were carried out in the following areas: 1) the design and synthesis of novel optoelectronic materials, 2) the determination of relationships between structures and their properties, and 3) the application of the synthesized materials in optoelectronic conversion devices.

• Published over 380 peer-reviewed papers, including Nat. Commun., J. Am. Chem. Soc., Angew. Chem. Int. Ed., Adv. Mater. etc.. Applied over 50 U.S. and Chinese patents, reported over 50 international conference papers and published 2 international monographs.

• Awards include: the second class prize of the State Natural Science Award (2013, the first achiever); the first class prize of Beijing Science and Technology Award (2011, the first achiever); NSFC “Distinguished Young Scholars” (2008); the State Council Special Allowance (2013); the New Centuary National Hundred, Thousand and Ten Thousand Talent Project (2009); 100 Talents Program of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (2000).
